This Heel Sore Protector has been designed to protect the heel while sustaining the integrity of the foot, ankle, calf and achilles area.
The lower extremities are very susceptible to the occurrence of pressure ulcers, with the heel being the second most common site on the entire body.
How it Works
The foot waffle can be used conveniently with wheelchairs and general nursing beds. The heel flap can be removed and flipped under the calf creating an area of zero pressure under the heel. This also supports and elevates the calf and heel.
