It is built with a classic silver-toned frame, giving it an added touch of elegance. Also features:
♦ Folding Back which Makes it Easy to Transport and Store
♦ High Safety, Flame and Fire Resisting and Retarding Seat and Back Rests Cover, so that you may Safely Use it in Fire-Risk Areas such as the Kitchen.
It can be quite difficult to wheel someone on a steep downhill surface. This is because that persons' weight acts to push the wheelchair forward, and can cause it to easily run off - Dragging the carer or companion along. Or the wheelchair toppling over or running off on its' own.
This lightweight transit/ transport wheelchair provides an easy solution to that. It does this by the presence of a really useful safety feature - Loop Cable Brakes.
♦ Loop Cable Brakes permit slower and safer downhill runs on steep pathways and roads, as well as variable resistance on flat surfaces. It enables the wheelchair to be easily slowed down or stopped, even on steeper grounds.
♦ Swing Away Footrests to make it easier for you to move into or out of the wheelchair. It can also be removed to create space when not in use. And is easily adjustable to fit your height, better supporting your weight and bodyframe.
♦ Heel Straps keep your feet from sliding backwards and getting caught between the wheels.
♦ Padded Armrests for extra comfort.
